In this issue, we are pleased to include articles that demonstrate some of the powerful analysis capabilities that have been added in the new versions of ReliaSoft’s BlockSim and ALTA software; specifically, reliability phase diagram analysis in BlockSim and an accelerated life test planning utility in ALTA. We take another look at automotive warranty data analysis that takes usage (i.e. mileage) into account. Finally, we present a brief introduction to the Certified Reliability Professional (CRP) program. As always, we welcome your feedback on these article as well as your suggestions for topics that you would like to see addressed in future issues.

I would also like to take this opportunity to bring to your attention some available resources related to ReliaSoft’s reliability publications.

Reliability HotWire

In addition to the Reliability Edge, ReliaSoft also publishes a monthly eMagazine that provides information and tips on how to improve your reliability practices and get the most out of ReliaSoft’s tools for reliability analysis. Guest Submissions

In an effort to encourage communication among practitioners within the reliability engineering community, both Reliability Edge and Reliability HotWire accept guest submission articles on topics of interest within the discipline. We expect guest submission articles to be relevant, readable and theoretically sound and, of course, the decision of whether or not to publish a specific article is made by our editorial review panel. Index of Reliability Publications

Since ReliaSoft strives to provide valuable tips and other useful information in our reliability publications, we have tried to make it easy to find articles from past issues of Reliability Edge and/or HotWire that may be of interest to you. In addition to posting "archives" of all past issues for each publication on our websites, ReliaSoft also maintains an alphabetic "Subject Index" for both publications, which provides a list of all relevant articles that have been published in the Edge or HotWire related to a selected keyword. New Resource! - RSS Feeds

Last but not least, we have recently added several RSS feeds to help you keep abreast of the latest news related to ReliaSoft’s software, training and services. RSS feeds allow for real time updates to your favorite Web content via RSS Readers. The following feeds are currently available from ReliaSoft at ReliaSoft.com/media/reliasoft_rss.htm:
